Commissary, Exchange and Local Major Retailers
- There is a small Coast Guard Exchange at Station Rockland with a limited inventory.
- Naval Air Station Brunswick: The nearest commissary and major exchange to Rockland is in Brunswick, Maine. Unfortunately it is tentatively scheduled to close in 2011. Brunswick is about a one hour drive from Rockland.
- There are two major grocery stores in the area, Hannaford Supermarket and Shaw’s Supermarket along with a JC Penneys, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and Lowes.
- Good Tern Co-op. This small store on North Main St. offers all kinds of organic foods.
