The Farnsworth is one of the finest regional art museums in the country with a specialized collection focusing on Maine's role in American art.

Maine Lighthouse Museum
The mission of the Maine Lighthouse Museum is to educate the public regarding the long standing traditions, heroism and progress of America's Lighthouse and Lifesaving services and the United States Coast Guard through the conservation and interpretation of the nation's most significant collection of lighthouse and lifesaving artifacts.

Friends of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse
A site to direct and support the restoration, preservation and long term maintenance of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse and to provide public access to the structure for education and enjoyment.

Maine Eastern Railroad
Come aboard our restored vintage railcars for a carefree journey through the spectacular scenery of mid-coast Maine, from Brunswick to Rockland. Service begins on July 1st and will continue through the fall, with special Holiday Trains in December. Service operates Wednesday through Sunday.

The Maine Lobster Festival
For fun and feasting, the annual Maine Lobster Festival is one of New England’s great summer events; it’s the original Lobster Festival, where Lobster Is King!

The North Atlantic Blues Festival
This prestigious East Coast festival runs for two days in month of July. Featuring some of the top names in blues music, the event is held at the Harbor Park in Rockland, Maine overlooking picturesque Rockland Harbor.

The Owls Head Transportation Museum has one of the finest collections of pioneer-era aircraft and automobiles in the world.

The General Henry Knox Museum
Montpelier stands as a living memorial to Henry Knox, filled with many of the beautiful objects he purchased for the original mansion; a space that invites visitors to learn about the life and times of this great Patriot.

Penobscot Marine Museum
Our campus has more than a dozen buildings, five of which house public exhibits and collections. All but one of the buildings date from the first half of the 19th century, to authentically recreate the look and feel of a seaport village from the Great Age of Sail.
